Ramiro and Nicole de Acevedo Ramos |
Ramiro is an exceptional captain and sailor, with a passion for the ocean.
He began racing at a young age on the coast of Argentina. He was the J24 champion in Argentina and from there decided to teach other kids to sail. He was the racing and head instructor of small boats in his city in Argentina. He then went to Maritime College and received a commercial and large vessel sailing license after a two year program. He then went to work for a couple of years on commercial offshore fishing in the south Atlantic Ocean. Ramiro holds a USCG 100 ton license, and is PADI certified.
He has sailed much of the  coast of South America including Cape Horn, as well as the east Coast of the US, Cuba and the Caribbean. Ramiro has spent the last 4 years doing charters in the Caribbean, and knows many secret coves and terrific places for snorkeling and diving. He would also love to help you learn wakeboarding, kiteboarding, or maybe take a hiking tour of an island.
Ramiro is a patient and responsible captain who will encourage you to learn about sailing, or help you to enjoy all the luxuries aboard Too Elusive.

Nicole has lived with the water outside her front door since she was very young; living in Maine she has been on the ocean sailing and exploring islands her whole life. She has become an experienced offshore sailor with several trips up and down the east coast of the U.S. and throughout the Caribbean, and is also an avid swimmer and qualified lifeguard.
 Nicole has an outgoing personality and loves meeting new people. Living in the woods and the islands, she enjoys hiking, exploring, and learning about different cultures. She has also lived and sailed in the South Atlantic, on the coast of Argentina and speaks fluent spanish.
Coming from a family that owns a high class restaurant Nicole has become an excellent chef, with seven years serving and cooking in both the family business and several other fine restaurants on the coast of Maine. She has many spectacular family recipes served with a bit of Argentinean flair; you will enjoy her healthy fresh meals.
Nicole is happy to accomodate all requests and will surely make you feel comfortable and at ease while on Too Elusive.
